Dubai completes nine real estate projects worth over $1bn in first half

174 real estate developers are registered with the land department.
Top areas for transactions include Jumeirah Village Circle, Dubai Marina, and Palm Jumeirah.
Dubai is the world’s leading market for $10 million homes, with sales reaching $3.1 billion in H1 2023, surpassing Hong Kong and New York, according to Knight Frank.
In the first six months, Dubai accounted for 79% of the total number of $10 million homes sold in 2022, as reported by the consultancy. Additionally, residential real estate prices in Dubai saw the strongest annual growth since 2014, with the average price rising by 16.9% in June compared to the previous year, as per CBRE’s Dubai Residential Market Snapshot report.
