Motor City is a vibrant community located in Dubailand, close to Arabian Ranches. The development consists of two residential areas and a business park, all centered around a Formula 1 race track. While the original master plan included a theme park, it has since been removed.

Residents of Motor City have various housing options, including apartments in the low and medium-rise buildings of Uptown Motor City or villas and townhouses in the Green Community. The diverse range of flats and villas available creates a mixed community of families, couples, and individuals from different nationalities, all living harmoniously together.

In September 2014, the GEMS Metropole School opened its doors, providing education from the Foundation Stage up to Year 13.

Motor City Business Park features several high-rise towers that offer commercial spaces for offices and showrooms.

Residents have convenient access to amenities such as a large Spinneys supermarket, a selection of retailers, banks, pharmacies, and opticians. The area also offers numerous coffee shops, restaurants, and fast-food outlets. In 2018, First Avenue Mall was opened, featuring an indoor-outdoor boulevard with 70 high-street retailers and 15 casual dining restaurants. Adjacent to the mall is the four-star Park Inn by Radisson Hotel.

The shared gardens, pools, and recreational facilities in Motor City are well maintained, creating a safe and pleasant environment for residents. The landscaped gardens, walking paths, children’s play areas, and swimming pools contribute to the overall appeal of the area.

Transportation and access in the Motor City are facilitated by the nearby Emirates Road, Al Khail Road, and Sheikh Zayed Road. Commute times by car to various popular destinations are approximately 24 minutes to Dubai Mall, 18 minutes to Palm Jumeirah, 20 minutes to Burj Al Arab, and 22 minutes to The Walk JBR.

For airport travel, Dubai International Airport (DXB) can be reached in roughly 39 minutes by car, while the newer Al Maktoum International Airport is approximately a 31-minute drive away.

While there is no metro station in Motor City, residents can rely on the F29 bus service to reach the Mall of the Emirates for their public transportation needs.
