Downtown Dubai, located in the northern part of Dubai, is a vast residential and commercial development covering an area of two square kilometers. While some parts of it are still under construction, it is already home to some of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Mall, the Dubai Fountain, and the Dubai Opera.

Burj Khalifa, known as the world’s tallest building, houses a hotel, office spaces, and 900 apartments. The surrounding areas offer a mix of low-rise villas, townhouses, and residential towers. Downtown is easily accessible through the metro, which connects to the Dubai Mall. The mall boasts 1,200 retail outlets, an aquarium, and an ice rink, attracting shoppers and leisure seekers from all over the country.

The residential accommodation in the heart of Downtown Dubai offers high-rise living in Burj Khalifa, with its apartments accompanied by top-notch fitness facilities, indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, and recreation rooms. Another upscale option is The Address, which offers 626 serviced apartments.

As you move away from the center, you’ll find the low-rise Old Town area, characterized by Arabic-style buildings, narrow streets, and pleasant gardens. Beyond Old Town, there are several high-rise apartment complexes, including South Ridge, The Distinction, and Burj View Towers.

Downtown Dubai is conveniently accessible by road via Sheikh Zayed Road, with Al Wasl on the opposite side and Business Bay to the south. The district is also well connected to the Dubai Metro through the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro Station.
