Damac Hills
Damac Hills, formerly known as Akoya, is a prestigious residential development in Dubai Land created by Damac Properties. Marketed as “The Beverly Hills of Dubai,” this luxury community encompasses a vast area of 42 million square feet.
The development comprises a total of 3,008 villas and townhouses, along with 4,335 apartments ranging from studios to one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Additionally, there are 163 serviced hotel villas and 4,317 serviced apartments, hotel rooms, and hotel apartments, offering a range of accommodation options.
Damac Hills features a prominent feature: an 18-hole PGA Championship golf course developed in collaboration with Donald Trump. The golf course opened in February 2017, and the majority of residential properties were completed by June 2020, although some communities were still undergoing construction. The original plan aimed for full completion in 2018.
The community of Damac Hills is designed as a gated enclave, surrounding the golf course and spanning 400,000 square meters of lush parkland. Alongside the golf course, residents can enjoy an array of amenities, including a clubhouse with restaurants, a pool, and a gymnasium. Other facilities within the community include the Little Village children’s play area, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, schools, and nurseries, ensuring a convenient and well-rounded living experience.
Commute times by car from Damac Hills are approximately 25 minutes to Dubai Mall, 22 minutes to Palm Jumeirah, 21 minutes to Burj Al Arab, and 26 minutes to The Walk JBR.
In terms of airport proximity, Dubai International Airport (DXB) is roughly a 41-minute drive, while the new Al Maktoum International Airport can be reached in approximately 29 minutes by car.
