Al Furjan Phase 1 consists of 819 houses, each with gardens and terraces. Half of the houses are terraced houses, while the rest are detached villas with three, five, or six bedrooms. However, there is still ongoing construction work to be completed for the entire project. The announcement that Dubai would host the 2020 World Expo led to increased investor demand, resulting in the announcement of ten new residential towers and seven hotel apartments.

The name “Al Furjan” translates to a “collection of homes” or a “small village,” and the community is designed to foster a friendly and communal environment among residents. The houses are built in small clusters connected by walkways and parks. The landscaping work, including over 30 park areas and walkways, which make up a quarter of the Al Furjan master plan, has been fully completed.
